Empower Your Mind (EYM) provides flexible learning options with convenient online services delivered by qualified instructors who specialize in every niche imaginable right at your fingertips.

Services are provided inclusive of all students in core academic subjects, grades K- 12. EYM offers test preparation tutoring for all major exams; private school admissions, PSAT, ACT and SAT.

Online platforms used are Google Drive/Chat/Meet/Classroom and Zoom.

About the Owner

Kami Cornelio is a fully credentialed teacher and experienced tutor having obtained an Education Specialist degree from UCLA. Additional credential authorizations augment Kami's ability to close the achievement gap for students with disabilities and English learners. Since 2008, Kami has worked with students in grades K-12th, tutoring them 1:1 and meeting their academic needs.

Kami is accepting students grades Pre-K-12th grade. Each student receives an individualized and research based educational program. Consistent implementation of instructional strategies that are designed to meet specific needs along with close monitoring and periodic assessments yield high achievement.

Kami is also skilled in test preparation to include the SAT, California Basic Education Skills Test (CBEST) and the California Subject Examinations for Teachers (CSET) Subtests I, II, III.
